The Human Resources Department provides leadership and support to the Village’s workforce, in the areas of:

• Recruitment and selection
• Compensation and benefits administration
• Employee training and development

• Risk management and occupational safety

The Human Resources staff also ensures compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local employment laws. Striving to be known as "an employer of choice", the department partners with management and staff to strengthen the Village’s ability to attract, develop, and retain an excellent workforce. In addition, it supports leaders and employees in developing a culture of exceptional customer service and continuous learning. The department achieves business results through administrative expertise and implementing innovative solutions that enhance individual and organizational capability.
