PERMITS AND LICENSES

Building Permits - There are a variety of building permits required by the Village of Pinehurst. The Planning and Inspections Department oversees the application process and can guide you on what permits you may need when building or remodeling in Pinehurst. In addition, the Village has prepared a list of Frequently Asked Questions that may address your buiding permit questions.

Business Licenses - The Village does not currently require a business license. However, if you purchase a business and are changing the use of the property, you must submit an Application for Zoning Use form to the Planning and Inspections Department.

Pet Licenses - Your dog or cat that is over four (4) months of age must be licensed. Pet Licenses should be renewed in January of each year and cost $2.00 per animal. Please complete the Pet License Form and return it, along with documentation of rabies vaccination, to Village Hall at 395 Magnolia Road.  If you have any questions about the pet license requirements, please contact Village Hall at (910) 295-1900.
